It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann King (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leldon Vernon and Desi Marie Cobb Godfrey; her son David Eugene Martin; and her sisters, Patricia Brock and Debra Eden.
She is survived by: her husband James Garnett King, III of Clayton; her children, Lance V. King (Kelly) and Jerri Louise Schoeck; her grandchildren, Brandon King, Jordon King, Payton Schoeck and Trisha Schoeck Meagher (Frank); her great grandchildren, Luke Meagher and Felicity Meagher; and her nieces, Lisa Layton and Halley Childs. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
