She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Glenn and Gladys Beddingfield Wester; her husband Tommy Barefoot; and her brother Glenn Wester. She is survived by: her children, Michael Barefoot (Melissa) of Clayton and Angela Barefoot of Conway; her grandchildren, Ava Kathryn Barefoot, Alexander Abbott and Adynn Barefoot; and her siblings, Barbara Harris of Rocky Mount and Lewis Wester (Sara) of Bailey.
