With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Ruth Barbour Holmes of Clayton, North Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson David Barbour and Pennie Rhodes Barbour; and her siblings, Laura Corbett, Edna Todd, Lloyd Marion Barbour (Buddy) and Judson Edward Barbour (JE).

She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Lee Holmes; her children, Jimmie David Holmes and Denise Holmes Wheeler; and her sister Shirley Diane Perry. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

While flowers are appreciated, memorial contributions may also be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
