He is survived by: his sisters, Doris, Ava, Marie, Pearl and Lucille; his wife Rebecca Sealey Watkins (Becky); his daughter Ivey Watkins Palmer; his son-in-law Brian Gordon Palmer; and his grandsons, Nathaniel Gordon Palmer and Micah Simon Palmer.
