She was predeceased by : her parent Richard Wesley Dowless. She is survived by : her parent Doris Batten Dowless; her husband Jerry Wayne Batten of Clarkton, N. C.; her daughters, Hope Lynn Batten of Melfa and Ginger Yvonne Lacefield (Carleigh) of Chesapeake; her brother Jerry A. Dowless (Nancy) of Macon, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Xzavier Lacefield, Sophia Lacefield and Josia Lacefield.
