He is survived by: his brother William Leslie Johnson Jr. (Michelle); his children, Alecia Caroline Jellicorse (Jeremiah), Thomas Morgan Johnson II (Jane) and Paul Shannon Johnson; his nephews, William Leslie Johnson III, Samuel Weston Johnson and Allen Morgan Johnson (Jessica); his grandchildren, Anna Jellicorse, Elijah Jellicorse, Levi Jellicorse, Thomas Morgan Johnson III, Joel Byron Johnson, Lucas McLaney Johnson, Zachary Paul Johnson and Jackson Luke Johnson; and his friend Reverend Jim Woodruff.
