He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James Sturgeon and Lela Selby Sturgeon of Nevada; and his brothers, Kip, Paul and Tom Sturgeon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mareena Sturgeon of Clarkton and Tela Sturgen of Owasso, OK; his stepdaughters, Tiffany Durbin of Owasso, OK and Darla Watrous of Waynesboro, TN; his sister Susan Roberts of Grants Pass, OR; his grandchildren, Abraham Dennis, Paisley Millen, Corbin Millen and Owen Rudy; his son-in-law Matthew Dennis; and his wife Linda Durbin Sturgeon.
