He is survived by: his wife Emily Rush Williams; his children, Brian Williams of Wilmington, Christopher Barnes (Angie) of Pikeville and Katy Williams of Wilmington; and his sister Renee Moore (Billy) of Charlotte. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
