She was predeceased by: her parents, James Madison Moore and Mary Pearl Prease Moore; her husband Robert Carl Brown Jr.; and her sister Mary Evelyn Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Robert Carl Brown III (Karen) of Whiteville, James Darrell "Liddy" Brown (Debbie) of Whiteville, Raymond Eugene Brown (Dorian) of Miami, FL and Vera Elizabeth "Beth" Brown of Whiteville; her grandchildren, Courtney Nicole Stevens, Robert Eric Brown (Terrie), Carla Grey Snow (Brent), James Edward Brown and Greyanna Geraldine Brown; and her great grandchildren, Ryder Carl Brown, Erica Pearl Brown and Daniel Lee Brown.
