With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Russ of Clarkton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Samuel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clyde Russ and Grace Evelyn Hood Russ; and his brothers, Ronnie Russ and Thomas Russ. He is survived by: his son Ryan Russ (Tawny) of Fair Bluff, NC; his siblings, Terry Russ of Bladenboro, Joseph Russ of Pennsylvania, Diane Babson of Bladenboro and Miriam Bryan of Bladenboro; and his granddaughter Mina Russ.
