He is survived by: his children, Nicole McColl (Jonathan) of Rockfish, NC, Frank Durden (Sarah) of St. Pauls, NC and Melissa Durden (Erin) of Garner, NC; his siblings, Richard Durden, Michael Durden, Frances Baxley, Beverly Collins and Melanie Durden; his grandchildren, Avery Durden, Dean McColl and Bryleigh Carroll; his close friends, Al Bridgers and Ronald Coley; and his horse Sugar. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
