She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Edwards and Donella Edwards; her husband Sylvester Lee Benton; and her children, Johnny Ray Benton and Donna Benton Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Jannie Benton McRoberts (Alan) of Bladenboro, Barbara Benton Canady (Woody) of Fayetteville, Debbie Benton Page (Eddie) of Elizabethtown and Randy Lee Benton (Greg) of Clarkton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
