He is survived by: his wife Pauline Carmichael Godfrey of Tabor City, NC; his children, Darlene Bouie of Clarkton, NC, Janice Frazier of Florida, Nicole Godfrey of Tabor City, NC and Paul Jeter of New Jersey; and his siblings, Jean Godfrey, Marie Ligon (Frank), Sarah Anthony (Herman), Curtis Godfrey and Rev. Henry Earl Godfrey. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
