He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Britt Bridgers; and his nephew John Channing West. He is survived by: his sons, James Howard Bridgers of Clarendon and Kristopher Glenn Bridgers of Clarkton; his father James Bridgers; his sisters, Nancy Heustess (Jack) of Clarkton, Tanya White (Randy) of Whiteville and Sue Harrington (Tommy) of Clarkton; his grandchildren, Jaxson Bridgers and Rylie Ford; his nephew Joshua Harrington; his nieces, Brittany Kelly (Kendal) and Dakota Lennon (Wesley); his great-nephew Liam Lennon; and his great-nieces, Rayne and Sadie Kelly.
