He was predeceased by: his wife Laurice P. Warner; his parents, Alexander L. Warner and Eloise Register Warner; and his siblings, Morris Warner, Edna G. Miller, Ernestine Clark and Bobbye Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Eric "Butch" Warner (Rebecca) of Wilmington, Beth W. Alford (Dan) of Clarkton and Laurie W. Dunlop (Ed) of Wilmington; his siblings, Sidney Warner (Wanda) of Pine Hurst and Janet Cain of White Lake; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Potter (Mike), Amber Hardee (Bradley Kinlaw), Joshua Huggins, Alex Dunlop, Hannah Dunlop, Jordan Warner (Christy) and Jessie Warner. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
