It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosabell Powell of Clarendon, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Faircloth of Washington and Beulah Bernice Faircloth (Duncan) of Tabor City; her husband Thelbert Lacy Powell; her brother Horace Faircloth; her daughter Amy Carol; and her great grandchild Serenity Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Monte Powell (Janice) of Clarendon, Gail Cannon of Whiteville, Wilma Goins (Tim) of Whiteville and Melody Smith (Scott) of Clayton, NC; her grandchildren, Christy Dehne, Monte Powell, Jr. (Kelly), Kyle Powell (Susan), Benjamin Greene (Amy), Sarai Cannon, Ryan Goins (Crystal), Heather Goins, Brett Goins (Kristi), Eric Powell (Jennifer) and Patrick Powell (Jackie); her great grandchildren, Zachary (Michelle), Aaron, Monte, III, Elizabeth, Carson, Ellie, Savannah, Siler, Scarlett, Emma, Owen, Preston, Jase and Wyatt; and her great great grandchildren, Maci and Walker.
