He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Turbeville Barnhill of Clarendon, NC and Shelley Turbeville Byrd (J. Kenneth Byrd, Jr.) of Nashville, NC; his grandchildren, Talley Addison Barnhill, Tanner Russ Barnhill, Taylor Taft Barnhill, Kenley Elisabeth Byrd, John Isaac Byrd and James Andrew Byrd; and his sister Patricia Turbeville Duncan (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
