He is survived by: his wife Maie Wood Saunders; and his children, Jack Saunders, Jr. of Clarendon, Jackie Parsons of Candor, Robin Saunders and Vanessa Saunders Stewart. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
