She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lanier and Bettie Caroline Maready Lanier; and her brothers, Hosea Byrd Lanier and Jimmy Lanier. She is survived by: her children, Tom Ray Carroll, Jr. (Rachel) of Riegelwood, Donna Lennon of Clarendon, Tina Kelly (Larry) of Delco, Ramona Dexter (Howard) of El Paso, Susan Currie (Neil) of Clarendon and Cherry Lanier; and her siblings, Samuel Lanier, Jack Lanier, Henry Lanier, Bobby Lanier, Johnny Ray Lanier, Mary Joyce Lanier and Sharon Ann Scott. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
