It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Lanier of Clarendon, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Golespie Norris and Hettie Strickland Norris; and her brothers, Isaac Norris, Joe Norris and Royce Norris.
She is survived by: her husband Thurman Odell Lanier of Clarendon, NC; her sons, Chad Lanier (Heather) of Wilmington, NC and Chris Lanier (Traci) of Wilmington, NC; her siblings, Rudolph Norris of Columbia, SC, Ruthene Barefoot of Wilmington, NC, Ruby Smith of Fairmont, NC, Martha Davis of Winston Salem, NC and Mary Parker of Tabor City, NC; and her grandsons, Logan Lanier and Lucas Lanier.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, social distancing will be observed and the family encourages all attendees to wear a mask.
