We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2023, at the age of 77, Stephen Allen Brittain of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Clayborn Brittain and Christine Chapman Brittain; his brother Larry Brittain; and his niece Jessica Eaton. He is survived by: his children, James Brittain of Claremont and Adrienne Brittain (Cory Waldhauser) of Gastonia; and his siblings, Mike Brittain (Rita) of Claremont, Max Brittain (Susie) of New York and Gwen Eaton of Hickory.
