It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Sigmon Wallace of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Sigmon and Carrie Hefner Sigmon; her children, Gary Wallace and Carolyn Wallace; her siblings, Ray Sigmon, James "JB" Sigmon and Claudine Tubbs; her son-in-law Jeff Canipe; and her brother-in-law Wilson Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Wallace (Kathy) of Conover and Paula Canipe of Conover; her sister Norma Harris (Jean) of Newton; her grandchildren, Scott Canipe (Rhonda), Garett Canipe (Ashley), Thad Crawford and Jeremy Crawford (Erin); her great grandchildren, Corey Canipe, Scarlett Canipe, Lorelei Crawford, MacKenzie Crawford, Emma Crawford, Catherine Crawford, Brittiny Isenhour, Brandon Isenhour and Dawson Abee; and also Scott Johnson.
