Roy Shook Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2021, at the age of 89, Roy Shook of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shook and Edna Hedrick Shook; his wife Sudie Lee Shook; his siblings, Wade Shook, Monroe "Bo" Shook, Harvey Shook, Johnny Shook, Mary Moss and Edith "Jeet" Shook; and his grandson Chad Cloninger.

He is survived by: his great great grandchild Jameson; his daughters, Nancy Shook Edwards (Robert "Shorty") of Catawba, Patsy Shook Wagoner (Howard) of Catawba and Kathie Shook Gehringer; his brother Everett "Ham" Shook (Marilyn) of Claremont; his sister-in-law Helen Shook; and his grandchildren, Mark Cloninger Sr. (Kelly), Shane Huffman, Jennifer Deese (Brian), Robert Edwards, Brandon Edwards (Hanna), Aundrea Murphy (Trevor), Jeb Yearwood and Si Waugh Thirteen.
