He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Brooks Sr. and Jacquelean Gibby Brooks Bumgarner; his stepfather Jack Bumgarner; his grandparents, Adam, Effie Brooks, Meral and Annie May Jones Moseman; his sister-in-law Glenda Brooks; his son Leonard Hoyle; and his stepgrandson Jayden.
He is survived by: his significant other Tina Powell; the mother of his children Loria Carpenter (Ronnie); his daughter Georgia Hoyle; his brother Johnny Brooks; his stepbrother Mickey Bumgarner (Pam); his sons, Michael Dustin Brooks and Anthony Shane Brooks; his stepchildren, Brittany Powell (Bobby Ensley) and Brandon Powell (Ashley); his nephews, Baily, Jack, Riley and Macon; his granddaughter Samantha Shelton; and his stepgrandchildren, Maddox, Addie, Bobby and Emery. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and stepchildren.
