It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Millie Sue Drum Shook of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David D. Drum and Edna Mae Ballard Drum; her husband Bobby John Shook, Jr.; her sons, Bobby John Shook (Debera Shook) of Catawba and Robert Allen Shook; and her sisters, Alda Bumgarner, Mozelle Moore, Gladys Sipe, Martha Deviney, Viola Weathers and Wellenia Parham.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Shook (Angela) of Claremont, Jimmy Dale Shook of Taylorsville and Teresa Nelson (David) of Kings Mountain. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
