She was predeceased by: her parents, John Courtney and Mary Prall Courtney; and her husband Jack Aitken. She is survived by: her granddaughter Summer Rose Aitken; her children, Thomas Aitken of Claremont, Dawn Wynn of Winston Salem, Diane Aitken of Winston Salem and Margaret Icard of Hickory; and her granddaughter Angela Aitken of Newton. She is also survived by Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
