He was predeceased by: his parent Eubert Lawrence Sigmon; his grandparents, Glen, Minnie Sigmon, Oscar "Bud" and Maudina Hefner; and his niece Allison Holland.

He is survived by: his mother Joyce Hefner Sigmon of Conover; his sons, Sean (April) of Pfafftown, NC and Justin (Monica) of Stokesdale, NC; his wife Kathy Kale Sigmon; his siblings, Dawn Shave (John) of Conover, Kimberly McCabe (Greg) of Burlington and Danny Sigmon (Tammy) of Bethlehem; his parents-in-law, Kermit and Josephine Kale of Catawba; his brothers-in-law, Kevin Kale (Penny) of Catawba and Keith Kale (Lana) of Catawba; his grandchildren, Taylor, Sean Jr., Caleb, Allison and Emily; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Eller, Alex Misenheimer, Kristan Sigmon, Keri Williams, Kasey James, Leah Propst and Cole Sprouse.
