He is survived by: his mother Wayburn Piercy Allen of Claremont; his children, Justin Allen (Nickie) of Catawba, Keaton Allen of Hickory and Tiffany Winters (Joe, Jr.) of Claremont; his siblings, Terry Allen (Pauline) of Claremont, Scott Allen of Hickory, Pam Allen of Claremont and Revonda Cobb of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Katie Allen, Jaelynn Allen, Caitlin Winters and Adalynn Allen; his friend Alton Rudisill; his aunts, Shirley, Dottie, Faye, Diane and Elaine; and also Telisa WrightA.

A reception was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658).
