We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2021, at the age of 89, Jerry Neil Sharpe of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivy Sharpe and Eva Hines Sharpe; his wife Maria Setzer Sharpe; his daughter Robin Benfield; his grandson Chris Benfield; and his siblings, Haskle Sharpe and Rachel Ervin.
He is survived by: his daughter Scottie Walker (Johnny); his son-in-law Terry Benfield of Claremont; his brother-in-law Steve Setzer of Newton; his grandchildren, Tracy Benfield (Wendy) of Denver, NC, Corey Walker (Jules) of Arlington, VA, Stephanie Davis (Josh) of Bethlehem, Justin Hendren (Amber) of Catawba and Kayleigh Morrow (Will) of Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Brooklynn Benfield, Jacob, Jayden Davis, Cole, Greyson, Allie Hendren and Wesley Morrow.
