It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hunter Douglas Sparks of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Margie Meadows. He is survived by: his parents, Shawn Edward Sparks and Dorothy Ann Horner Sparks of Roebuck, SC.; his brother Austin Mathew Sparks of Claremont; his uncle Steve Wright; his aunt Peggy Wright; his cousins, Taylor Wright, Michael Wright, Trina Dyer Stephens and Lennie Colvin; his great-uncle Paul Sparks; his great-nephew Lucas Wright; and his great-niece Mean Baby Wright (Bailey).

A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Family Residence.
