With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard A. Beard Jr. of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard A. Beard, Sr. and Nell Sipe Beard; and his sister Karen Arruda. He is survived by: his wife Judy Buchanan Beard; his children, Mike Beard (Barbara) of Conover and Marsha Warren (William) of Lincolnton; his brother David Beard of Claremont; and his grandchildren, Cameron Beard (Lauren), Mason Beard (Hannah), Stacie Warren (Zach Tallent) and Lyndsie Warren. He is also survived by his grandkids and great-grandchild.
