She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Sigmon and Mildred Sigmon; her husband William Monroe Mathis; and her great-niece Caroline Ervin. She is survived by: her stepson Todd Young of Mt. Holly; her siblings, Gary Sigmon (Revonda) of Claremont, Carolyn Hollar (Jerry) of Claremont and Joyce Buchanan (Gary) of Claremont; her nieces and nephews, Brian Ervin (Patti), Cindy Ervin, Ginger Bullington (Carter), Michelle Dickerson (Jim), Mellisa Conner and Stacy Sigmon (Heath); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Chase Ervin (Sierra), Codie Ervin (Chloe), Cole Brady Ervin (Montana), Clay Ervin (Kayleigh), Alexander Bullington, Landon Dickerson (Brook), Kendall Roberts, Cohen Carpenter, Charlee Ann Burns, Jaden Valentin, Cenya Valentin and Nya Connor; and also Crosby Ervin A.
