It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Harris Sigmon of Claremont, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Brenda Harris departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Brenda Harris. Though Brenda Harris may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Scott "Bully" Harris; her husband Gary Sigmon; her brother Wade Brown; her granddaughter Hannah Catherine Bumgarner; and her son Michael Wayne Bumgarner.
She is survived by: her son Barry Bumgarner (Myra) of Claremont; and her sister Bonnie Pickeral of Virginia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (1405 Emmanuel Church Rd, Conover, NC 28613). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
