She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wesley Byers and Connie Laws Byers; her husband Jack Eugene Huffman; and her brothers, Floyd Edward Byers and Thurman Lee Byers.
She is survived by: her nephew Jeffery Scott Byers (Teresa Jonas Byers); her great-niece Lauren Elizabeth Byers of Maiden; and her sisters-in-law, Belle Bryant and Helen Wallace of Claremont. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the BURKE MORTUARY & CREMATORY-Newton-Conover Location (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658).
