He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Thales "O. T." Jr. and Catherine Josephine Wilson Davis; his son Barry; and his sisters, Shelby Bauernfeind (Stan) and Connie Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Davis; his wife Susan Madeline Smith Davis; his children, Olin Thales Davis IV and Amy Davis Knox of Lexington; his grandchildren, Becky Davis Peele (Daniel), Chris, Davis and Will Davis; his great grandchild Jonah Peele; and his siblings, Willie Davis (Gayle) of Linwood, Bobbie Tetter (Sam) of Lexington and Cathy Bailey (Tom) of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Churchland Baptist Church, 7516 NC Highway 150 South, Lexington, NC 27295.
