With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeffie Lee Lanning Sr. of Churchland, North Carolina, born in Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank L. Lanning and Norma V. West Lanning; his sister Cathy Lanning; and his half-brother David McIntyre. He is survived by: his wife Effie Jane Lanning; his children, Christie Michele (Jody Lewis) of Churchland, Angel Nicole Lanning (Michael Herring) of Tyro and Jeffie Lee Lanning Jr. (Ruby C. Strayhorn) of Churchland; his grandchildren, Annabelle Faith Herring and Jeffie Lee Lanning III (Bubba); and his sisters, Ellen Norman, Linda Keys, Betty Hutchins and Nancy Bruff.
