She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Waite Hodges and Emmie Boyd Hodges; her husband Roy LeVerne Edwards; her siblings, Carole Hodges Raiford, Opal Stallings and Ben Hodges; and her nephew Robert "Bobby" Hodges.
She is survived by: her nephews, Mac Hodges (Meta) of Washington and Les Hodges of Washington; and her niece-in-law Betsy D. Hodges of Washington.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home - Washington (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
