She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen F. Padgett and Etta Lee Waters Padgett; her husband Edward Stanley Asby; her granddaughter Laura Peters; and her siblings, Dorothy Whichard, Hazel Woolard, Johnnie Padgett, Charlie Padgett, Allen Padgett and Louis Padgett.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Asby (Diane) of Greenville and Janet Elks (Darrell) of Chocowinity; her grandchildren, Quentin Asby, Stacy Bullock, Vann Elks, Tim Elks and Crystal Libby; her great grandchildren, Alan Asby, Bryce Asby, Davis Peters, Hunter Bullock, Matthew Bullock, Luke Bullock, Eden Elks, Easton Elks, London Elks, Gatlin Elks, Polevia Libby, Warrior Libby and Niko Libby; and her sisters, Lois Wilburn of Florida and Ruby Cutler of Bath.
