The memory of Mavis Fay Hernandez of Chocowinity, North Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mavis Fay shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mavis Fay farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother Eula Barefield Payne. She is survived by: her husband Francisco Hernandez; and her daughters, Tanya Sue Alexander of Chocowinity and Jody Rena Villalobos of Chocowinity. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889).
