She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Cox and Effie Modlin Cox; her former husband William Earl "Dick" Campbell; her son Charlie Lee Campbell; and her stepsons, Charles Steven Smith and Eddie Lee Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Charlie Lee Smith; her daughters, Joyce Ann Baker of Chocowinity and Margaret Elizabeth Wainwright (Allen) of Chocowinity; and her sister Nelda Campbell of Washington. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
