She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Daniel; her granddaughter Shannon Lowery; her great grandchildren, Keely of Middlesex, NC and Zayden Lowery of Middlesex, NC; and her sister Penny Heyward of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
