He is survived by: his wife Susan Galloway Cox; his stepchildren, Crystal Kite Marriner (Randal) of Washington, NC and Daniel Casey Kite of Clarks, NC; and his grandchildren, Erin Cox, James Cox, Ayden Cox, Makayla Kite, Lucas Kite, Kelvie Hart, Nathaniel Kite and Jonah Kite.
