It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Midgette Edwards of Chocowinity, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Gray Midgette and Docia Ann Carawan; and her brother Earl Gray Midgette. She is survived by: her spouse Charlie Elwood Edwards; her sons, Donnie Edwards, Charlie Edwards and Timmy Edwards; and her siblings, John Thomas Midgette of Petersburg, VA, Leslie Junior Midgette of Kitty Hawk, Elsie Gray Austin of Grandy, VA and Mary Elizabeth Jordan of Grandy, VA. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
