She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Boyd; and her brothers, James Earl Bullock and Sherwood Thornton Bullock. She is survived by: her children, Nathan Derrick Boyd (Phyllis) of Bladenboro and Beth Eden Ahmad of New Bern; her sister-in-law Hilda Boyd of Chocowinity; her grandchildren, Murshed Ahmad, Nophul Ahmad, Sharif Ahmad, Derrick Michael Boyd and Presley Taylor Boyd; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Jane Ahmad and Gunner Nolan Ahmad; her niece Deborah Burnett; her nephew James Bullock; and also Meghan Rittenhouse.
