He is survived by: his mother Barbara Alligood; his wife Barbara Alligood; his daughter Joanna Mitchell (Chris); his grandson William Alligood; his sisters, Sharon Hand (David), Mary Furbee (Geoffrey) and Karen Boseman; his grandchildren, Skyler Mitchell, Charity Mitchell, Christian Mitchell and Brayden Alligood; and his niece Crystal Jones Ball. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
