We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 57, Denese Everson Mitchell of Chocowinity, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Denese Everson is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Denese Everson's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Earl "Bobby Doc" Everson. She is survived by: her mother Linda F. Banks; her husband Allen Wayne Mitchell; her daughters, Megan Midyette of Swan Quarter and Emily Rodgers of Virginia; her sisters, Anessia Hammonds (Mike) of Chocowinity and Amy Goff (John) of Washington; and her grandchildren, Madalyn Midyette and Cohen Silver. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Paul Funeral Home - Washington (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889).
