She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lloyd Buren Hodges and Sara Ann Gay Hodges; her husband Thurman Braxton; her children, David Braxton (Sonya) of Chocowinity and Tonya Braxton Gruenwald (Alan) of Chocowinity; her grandchildren, Cameron Braxton, Jacob Braxton and Michael Smith; and her siblings, William Hodges (Ann) of Kinston and Micki Silvers of Georgia.
