She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard Jones, Jr. and Bertha Mae Godley Jones. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Cox (John) of Holly Springs and Carol Lynn Rose (Charlie) of Chocowinity; her sister Vivian Briley (Henry) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Emily Springer (Josh), Grace Rose Tripp (Dylan) and Will Rose (Faith); her great grandchild Camden Tripp; and her cousins, Liz Motteler, Linda Lewis, Patricia Toler and Sylvia Youmans.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Harbor Church (2895 US-17, Chocowinity, NC 27817).
