She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Ellis Cates, Jr.; her son Scott Hamilton Fairfax; her stepdaughters, Debora Cates Zolty and Catherine Ann Cates; her brother U. K. Webb (Nancy); her siblings-in-law, Judy Webb and Gene Wilson; and her parents, Arnold "A. M." Webb and Willene Margaret Davis Webb.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Fairfax Daniel (Rick); her stepdaughter Kimberly Cates Susice (Kent); her daughter-in-law Lynn Fairfax; her siblings, Gerald Webb, Sheila Webb and Glenda "Denny" Wilson; her sister-in-law Carolyn Guthrie (Charlie); and her former husband Jay Hamilton Fairfax (Pamela). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
