She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyatt Smithwick and Katie Rowe Smithwick; her husband James Peele; her daughter Vickie Hardy; her siblings, David, Robert Smithwick and Edna Earl Smithwick; and her children-in-law, Lisa Marie Peele and Levi Clyde Hardy.
She is survived by: her son Robbie Peele of Grantsboro; and her brother Kenneth Smithwick of Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
